Before I was elected, I ran a survey which showed that only 31% of those who completed my survey had an NHS dentist, and that 65% of those without one said that this was because theirs went private.

I’ve used this invaluable local insight to speak about the issues we face locally in the House of Commons and directly with Health Ministers.

This has helped us secure over 19,000 more urgent appointments in our NHS area. Changes are also being made to encourage more dentists to stay working in the NHS.

I want to know if your experience of finding and/or keeping an NHS dentist locally has improved or not – so that I can keep making the case for us where needed.

Please do share your thoughts below and feel free to share this survey with others who live in our community.

Thank you,

Claire
